Bucket Elevators come in two general types; "Industrial Duty" and "Mill Duty". Industrial Duty units can be Continuous or Centrifugal style with either chain or belt mounted buckets. They have 3/16" Boots and 10Ga. Intermediate Casings and heads and are suited for for most applications for up to 5,000CFH capacity. Special design or construction features allow us to furnish these elevators in high temperatures applications up to 1200 degrees F. leftside.gif (7065 bytes) Bucket Elevators Centrigical

NOTE: Generally, bucket elevators are not suited for wet, sticky materials, or materials that are stringy or tends to mat or agglomerate. Not sure if your material can be handled in an elevator? Give us a call. We will be more than happy to help you.
Mill Duty elevators are intended for more rigorous service and come in "Cement Mill" style and
"Super Capacity" style.
The Cement Mill style is features heavier components and a traction wheel in the head for the severe service that would be common in Cement/Lime production, Glass and other applications. Super Capacity elevators feature dual strands of chain and are capable of delivering incredible amounts of material. Our largest standard "Right Out Of The Book" unit will handle nearly 15,000CFH (36 X 12 Bucket), and larger sizes are available.

Vertical Screw Elevators offer another lifting option for dry, free flowing bulk materials. They are best suited for intermediate heights (under 50ft.) with materials no more than moderately abrasive. They operate at relatively high speeds, (up to 400RPMs) so the components wouldn't last long on abrasive materials. We can provide standard VSE units for up to 7,000CHF and we are not opposed to looking at a special design if you need more capacity.
